Exhilarating Q1: It’s raining Milestones!
It has been nothing short of exhilarating for XODE Blockchain, marking significant milestones and laying the groundwork for an even more promising future in the world of blockchain and Web3 technology. Let’s take a chronological journey through the highlights of XODE’s journey from January to March and the exciting plans ahead for the second quarter covering April to June 2024.
January 2024: Polkadot Blockchain Academy at Cyberport, Hong Kong

In January 2024, XODE and its flagship project XGame embarked on a transformative journey at the Polkadot Blockchain Academy held at Cyberport in Hong Kong. Founder Harold Glenn Minerva and blockchain engineer and AI specialist Noah Oliver Rigonan underwent an intensive one-month program alongside 98 other industry peers and innovators. The highlight of the program was the graduation ceremony, where they had the honor of receiving their certificates in the presence of Polkadot founder Gavin Wood himself.
February 2024: Mainnet Launch and Valentine’s Day Celebration
Valentine’s Day took on a whole new meaning for XODE as it celebrated the launch of its Mainnet on February 14, 2024. This momentous occasion marked the culmination of months of hard work and dedication by the XODE team. With the Mainnet live, XODE was ready to usher in a new era of decentralized innovation on the Polkadot network.
March 2024: Philippines Web3 Bootcamp
March was a month of empowerment and education for XODE as it hosted the month-long “Philippine Web3 Bootcamp” in Cebu City, Philippines. Eager to share their new-found knowledge with the Filipino community, the experts from various fields shared their knowledge of cryptography, game theory, economy, and the fundamentals of blockchain technology. Participants were introduced to Rust programming language, state transition machine, and writing Ink! smart contracts, and the intricacies of the Polkadot blockchain.
“Most memorable was learning how to create a Web3 wallet and having a pizza party on the first day,” said Joveryn Pagunsan, a Web3 boot camper. “Most challenging was solving the liquidity pool problem. I wished there were more examples given on how to solve the problems in the liquidity pool.”
“For me, most memorable and challenging were learning the concept of blockchain and solving the liquidity pool problem,” added Ken Sombero. “And playing the game using smart contracts!”
March 2024 – Sub0 Asia 2024: The Polkadot Developer Conference
Shortly after, the XODE team traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, to attend “sub0 Asia 2024: The Polkadot Developer Conference.”
XODE was honored to be one of the 20 projects given a Demo Table at the Networking Hall, where team members engaged in one-on-one demonstrations of XODE and XGame.

The team also had the privilege of being interviewed and featured by prominent figures such as Jay Chrawnna of The Kusamarian, Alex of PromoTeam, and filmmaker Simon Hipkins of Key Pictures for the upcoming documentary “Behind The Code, Season 2.”
On March 18, 2024, the XODE Mobile app became available for download in Google Play.
Entering Q2: Winning the 136th Parachain Auction and Spreading the Web3 Gospel
April 2024: Momentous Momentum
With the dawn of April came another momentous achievement for XODE as it clinched victory in the 136th parachain auction on the Kusama network, securing its slot until 2025. This win solidified XODE’s position as a key player in the Polkadot ecosystem and laid the foundation for future growth and innovation.
On April 5, 2024, the XODE mobile app became available on the App Store, ready for download for users with iOS devices.
Enspace, Cebu Business Park
April proved to be a busy month for XODE as it continued its mission to spread the gospel of Polkadot and Web3 technology. Founder HG Minerva and CMO Caesar Ditan shared insights on “Exploring the Future of Web3 Technology” at the Enspace Inaugural Event attended by Web3 enthusiasts and about a dozen Japanese investors visiting the Philippines.
University of Cebu, Banilad Campus
XODE participated in the University of Cebu’s UI/UX Competition at the UC Banilad campus.
10th UC ICT Congress
The following day, HG Minerva spoke in front of thousands of IT students as a guest speaker at the UC 10th ICT Congress held at the IC3 Convention Center in Cebu City.
May 2024: Annyeonghaseyo Korea!
Both XODE founders HG Minerva and Gene Son traveled to Seoul, South Korea to further share the good news of XODE blockchain in the Polkadot ecosystem. HG Minerva spoke to an eclectic mix of Korean businessmen and entrepreneurs about XODE blockchain and the benefits that it has to offer in their respective industries.
HG Minerva also introduced JINA for the first time. JINA or Joint Innovation Network Intelligence is the AI component of XODE. JINA is cutting-edge technology that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to empower your Web3 chatbot and NFT Image Generation.
June 2024: Cebu As XODE’s June Bride!
As we look ahead to the rest of Q2, the XODE team is hard at work preparing for the Grand Launching of XODE blockchain in the middle of June 2024 in Cebu City. XODE throws this coming-out party with the hope of marrying blockchain technology with real-world progress for Cebu!
